Q: What payment options are available for online purchases?

A: We accept American Express, MasterCard, and Visa credit cards. We also accept PayPal payments, for your convenience.

Q: How do I know if an item I want is backordered?

A: The stock kept by our vendors is constantly changing. Should you place an order for an item that is on backorder, you will receive a call from customer service informing you of the estimated ship date. In the rare instance that an item is permanently out of stock with our vendor, we will help you find a suitable alternative, or refund your purchase.

Q: Do I have to create an account to shop?

A: You do not need to create an account to place in order. Having an account with Altogether Home™ provides a quicker checkout experience and the ability to view your order status and history in real-time through altogetherhome.com. Registered users also gain access to additional website features and special promotions.

Q: If I have saved an item in my shopping cart, will the price remain the same until the time of purchase?

A: 
Saving an item to your shopping cart will not lock in the shown price. All Altogether Home™ product pricing is subject to change without notice, including items saved in your cart.

Q: How do I use advanced search?

A: For your convenience, our search box appears on every page. If you have an idea of what you want, just begin typing in a keyword. A list of possible matches will appear. When you see your desired selection, just hit "search." When you see an item that you like, click on the image or item name to go to the product overview page.

Q: How can I check the status of my order?

A: Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email containing the tracking number. You are then able to check on the status of your order during any point in transit. For more details on checking the status of your order, visit our order tracking page.

Q: Will Altogether Home™ confirm that they have received my order?

A: When your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation via email, outlining the details of your order.

Q: Will I be charged sales tax?

A: Orders delivered inside of the state of Florida will be charged sales tax according to the county in which the delivery is made. Orders delivered outside of the state of Florida are exempt from sales tax charges.

Q: What is the CVC code and where do I find it?

A: A card verification code, or CVC, is an extra security measure that's used for your benefit. This is extremely important in ecommerce, as the CVC code is only printed on the card and therefore should only be in the possession of the cardholder. For most cards, you will find this code listed after the signature on the back of the card. On certain cards such as American Express, this code is listed as four digits on the front, right side of the card, immediately after the account number.

Q: Can I change or cancel my order after it's been placed?

A: Altogether Home™ acts quickly to ensure that your order reaches you in a timely manner. We encourage you to contact customer service at 866.402.HOME within 24 hours of placing your order to make any changes or cancelations. After 48 hours, it is unlikely that we can cancel your order because of manufacturers' policies. While we try our best to handle your request to cancel, we cannot be held responsible for orders that have already been processed by our manufacturers.

Q: Is it possible to ship one order to multiple addresses?

Q: How do I make sure my furniture will fit?

A:

  1. Measure Your Selected Area - Careful planning of the furniture layout can make or break a room's success. Start by measuring the perimeter of the room, noting doors, windows, heating/cooling vents, and focal elements such as a fireplace. Then, using the measurements provided on our site for each item, sketch a rough layout of the floor plan and desired placement of furniture. (Tip: Designers tend to plan their designs at ¼ inch scale. It helps to use an architect's scale (ruler) which you can find at any art supply store or online. It is less scary than it sounds.) Lighting is very important for function and aesthetics. Be sure to locate all electrical outlets and plan accordingly for how you plan to use the space. If you are an avid reader, for instance, you will want to make sure there is bright lighting over your favorite chair, and so on.
  2. Verify the Dimensions of Your New Furniture You will find each item's dimensions on the product detail page. By assessing the length, width, and height of an item, you can begin to understand how your space will accommodate a piece of furniture. Measure your own pieces of furniture that will be mixing with your new choices to make sure that you have considered how all of the pieces will relate to one another.
  3. Confirm Measurements for Delivery Once you make sure your furniture selection will fit in your space, you will also want to consider its path during delivery. It is imperative that all doorways, stairwells, and elevators will be large enough for the item to pass through. Particularly pay attention to access to attics, basements, and multiple stories. Begin by measuring the height and width of all passageways. If an item will not be able to fit straight through any of these areas, always try considering the depth measurement and whether or not it would be able to fit when on an angle or tilt. Make sure there is a clear path through your home to the desired area. Take into consideration all doorways, railings, banisters, ceiling fans, decorative moldings and interior walls that may pose an obstacle once inside the room.
